Leading a nonprofit through change is hard, especially when the budget won’t balance. Getting started isn’t the real challenge. Building an organization that lasts is. I know this firsthand. My first company closed because I didn’t have a trusted advisor to challenge my assumptions and guide my decisions.

I turned that lesson into success. With the support of an experienced coach, I founded a nonprofit in New York City that grew to $6 million in revenue and 125 staff on a strong financial foundation. Now I help nonprofit leaders build that same foundation, whether they’re growing fast in Phnom Penh or steering through funding uncertainty in the United States.
